Terms & Conditions

  1. Warmstone shall not be responsible for any pre-existing or latent defect in the site that may affect the underfloor heating and flooring, or the installation procedure thereof (including rotten floorboards or skirting boards, uneven floor levels, damp proofing on concrete floors or any other defect).
    The installation is subject to the sub-floor being level. If the floor condition requires flattening or leveling works, an additional cost will be added. The recovery works including plastering and touch painting of the hole patch are not included in this quote and owner should arrange.
  2. Warmstone warrants the underfloor heating to be free from defects in materials under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of three years from the installation date.
    Warmstone agrees to repair or replace the material without charge (except for the flooring material and installation cost). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction Warmstone warrants three years for flooring installation only, but no cover any damage by water or colour fading due to nature sunlight.
  3. The thermostat controllers come with one year warranty from the distributor. (www.casaheating.co.nz)
  4. All electrical works related to the power lines, thermostat controllers, and the switchboard should be carried out by a licenced electrician.
  5. The subfloor must be clean, dry, and level. This quote does not include any costs associated with floor preparation unless specified in writing. Flooring installation will be done using floating process. Please allow 10% wastate on floor material.
  6. Kitchen kick panels/waterfall panels are to be left off or removed prior to installation of the flooring – we do not quote to remove/replace.
  7. Customers have to reallocate all the furnitures at the job area. If the furniture is too large, it must be empty all it’s contains. Otherwise, we will charge $60/hour for removal it and we will not be responsible for any damage and loss during the moving.
  8. Colour variation: As engineered wood is completely natural material, there is notable colour variation between each individual piece of flooring.
  9. If the area is based on the floor plan provided by customers, the pre-quote is for reference only. Actual quote will be based on the site-measurement which also necessary for the prefab of heaters.
  10. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS This warranty does not include:
    – Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential use for which the product was not intended.
    – Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care.
    – Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident.
    – Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse.
    – Damages incurred by flood, fire, and force majeure.
  11. Warmstone Ltd shall not be liable for delay or non-performance of his contractual obligation to sell as a consequence of war, blockade, revolution, insurrection, production delay, quarantine restriction, civil commotion, riot, mobilization, strike, lockout, act of God, plague or other epidemic, fire, flood and earthquake. In the event of the above mentioned arising, documents providing its occurrence or existence shall be sent to BUYER without undue delay.
  12. If the installation date must be postponed and rescheduled, we respectfully request at least seven days notice. Rescheduling the installation without seven days notice will result in additional 30% of the installation labour cost.
  13. Deposit must be made within the quotation valid date to secure the quoted prices. Prices may get changed without advanced notice. The installation must be completed within 90 days from the deposit, unless otherwise the customers and Warmstone make an agreement. Clause 11 applies.
